Frequently asked questions
What is already settled, and what will be confirmed when sales open.
- Is this an original oil painting?
- No. Each work is an original photograph by Mathieu Delranc, interpreted in a painterly language, printed on canvas, then hand-finished with texture gel and protected by a satin finish.
- Why are prices not shown?
- Every size carries a public price, shown next to the dimensions on the artwork page. A larger size may be possible within the original ratio and depending on printing, shipping and finishing feasibility, and is then quoted individually.
- Are all formats proportional to the original photograph?
- Yes. Works in 4:5 come in 40×50, 60×75, 80×100 and 120×150 cm. “Salon, Light of the South”, in 9:16, comes in 45×80, 63×112, 90×160 and 107×190 cm.
- Can I ask for a specific size?
- Yes, on request, provided it stays within the original ratio. No cropping or change of orientation is offered.
- What is the production time?
- It will be confirmed at launch, once atelier capacity and carriers are settled.
- How do I care for a hand-finished canvas?
- A soft, dry cloth is enough. Avoid water, solvents and prolonged direct sunlight.
